Classic Transportation offers a competitive compensation package for Owner Operators. This package is a “combination pay” which when averaged out is $1.29 per mile.

Details of the “combination pay” schedule:

  • .98 per mile on all miles traveled (empty or loaded)
  • $25.00 for every container lift
  • $25.00 for additional drop offs
  • $10.00 additional for Hazmat loads

The minimum driver qualifications are as follows:

Age:  must be at least 25 years old

Experience: must have at least 3 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience

License: must have a Class A CDL license with hazardous endorsement

Driving Record:

  • must have no more than 2 violations in 3 years
  • no alcohol or drug related offenses
  • no leaving the scene of an accident
  • no driving while license is suspended or revoked
  • no reckless, negligent, or careless driving
  • no speeding tickets in excess of 20 mph over posted limit
  • must have no more than 2 chargeable accidents in 3 years
  • no serious preventable accidents

Education:  must have the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
